DLSS 3:
NVIDIA DLSS 3 is a revolutionary breakthrough in AI-powered graphics. Using the new 4th Gen Tensor Cores and Optical Flow Accelerator in GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, DLSS 3 analyzes sequential frames and motion data to create additional high-quality frames.
When enabled, DLSS 3 multiplies performance by up to 2.2X on GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards, dramatically accelerating frame rates in a variety of games.
DLSS 3 also reduces system latency by synchronizing game controller input with the graphics card, which makes on-screen actions happen almost instantaneously once you press a button or move your mouse.
In addition to ray tracing, DLSS 3 also enables DLSS Super Resolution, which renders fewer pixels in order to increase frame rates. DLSS 3 also utilizes the new Ada Lovelace architecture to generate super-resolution frames from a lower-resolution input. This results in a much more accurate output than traditional pixel mapping.
DLAA:
Nvidia’s DLSS technology has been a hit with gamers since its release, offering up a boost in performance by upscaling a game from a lower resolution to a higher one. This enables gamers with less powerful GPUs to play high-end games at full speed.
DLSS uses machine learning to help smooth out a game’s visuals, helping reduce the aliasing effect (which can cause jaggies) by filling in the gaps between pixels.
Also, DLSS also helps increase textural detail by boosting the quality of rendered images, so a game’s textures look sharper and more detailed than before.
